Missing required license
An error response was received from the Jazz Team Server. Status=400. Message: CRJAZ1381I The user has a “Contributor” client access license assigned that would normally allow this operation, but the license expired on Apr 3, 2011 7:30 PM. You can install a permanent client access license to re-enable this operation.
This error typically means that you haven’t added a referenced user as a member of the RTC project area. Ensure that all referenced users are members of the configured RTC project area.
If you still receive this error, another possibility is that you need to download the free license key from jazz.net. The server comes with a trial license that will expire but you can download a free developer license separately.
After you fix the issue, you may need to exit Tasktop Sync and restart for the change to be picked up.
If the fast view of Services is selected, the Services View can minimize with no obvious way to maximize it. It is straightforward to bring the view back. Press
Control-3 and type
Tasktop Sync, and select the
Tasktop Sync perspective from the menu.
The view can also be returned by dragging the Services icon from the fast view area in the lower left of the screen back to the correct view stack.
Services are, by default, run under a user named “Local System”, which isn’t quite like other users. In particular, you need to view the “Console” RDP session in order to see the services GUI. RDP sessions where you log in as Administrator are more restricted, so it is harder to see the Console sessions.
If you are already logged in and can’t see the Services GUI, do this:
cmd in the Start Menu text box.
tscon sessionId where sessionId is the sessionId from above.
To log in to the Console session directly, run RDP with this command (from
cmd) instead of clicking on the RDP icon in the start menu:
mstsc /admin /console /v:hostname:portNumber where
hostname is your host name and
portNumber is your port number.
If Tasktop Sync has been stopped for a long time and then started again it may occasionally fail to run the Changes Query on the specified interval. This should be noticeable right away as no tasks will be synced. Restarting Sync again should resolve the issue.
