Task Board

The Task Board allows you to focus on the current sprint to see the status of each story and subtask. This view is useful during the daily scrum to update the status and time remaining values of tasks.

Layout

User stories and tasks are represented as card figures in the Task Board. Each card shows the story or task’s summary, description, owner, and time remaining. User stories appear in the "Backlog Items" column, and each task appears in the row belonging to its parent story and under a column representing its status. The status columns are dictated by the agile connector and can be customized if Kanban features are supported. Common statuses may include “In-Progress” or “Completed”.

Editing Stories and Tasks

Please refer to the “Editing Stories and Tasks” section in the Planning Boards page.

Ranking

Ranking Tasks

A task can be ranked among other tasks that share the same parent and task status. You can simply drag and drop a task or multiple tasks within the same cell to update their ranks.

Ranking Stories

Stories can be ranked in the Task Board by dragging and dropping the story row(s) above or below another story.

In the “All Sprints” view, you can also drag and drop stories across to a different sprint.

Burndown Chart

The burndown chart shows your team’s progress over the current sprint. Each point on the chart represents the number of story points remained on a given day.

Click the button on the toolbar to toggle the burndown chart in and out of view.
