Collaborating

With the Tasktop Accept360 connector, collaborating efficiently with team members is simplified and streamlined. Post comments, attach files and screenshots, share task contexts, and create or navigate associated entities all from within Eclipse.

Comments

When useing Tasktop Accept360 connector, communicating with your fellow team members is effortless. Without leaving the Eclipse, simply open the Requirement, Defect, or Task you wish to comment on and enter your comment in the New Comment section near the bottom of the editor. Pressing submit will post the comment to the Accept360 entity and a blue arrow denoting your new comment will appear next the the same entity in fellow team mebers' Task Lists if using the Tasktop Accept360 Connector.

Attachments

Add a screenshot by expanding the Attachments section of the editor and pressing the Attach Screenshot button.

Sharing Contexts

To retrieve a conext conext, right click a Accept360 entity in the Task List and select Context -> Retrieve. Alternatively, you can right click on a context in the Attachments section of the editor and select Retrieve Context.

Task Links, Relationships, Dependencies, Links

Use Task Links to link from Accept360 entities to web pages, other Requirements, Defects, or Tasks in other issue tracking systems. Accept360's built in dependencies and relationships, as well as web links, can also be viewed and edited.

Links is a section of the task editor. Browse dependencies and relationships, and add new ones (by selecting the type and providing a url or task) or remove existing ones (by using the context menu). Douple clicking the entity within the Links list will open the resource.

Tasktop Linking (cross repository status push)

The Accept360 connector enables the user to link an Accept requirement to another repository's task (currently supported for connectors to VersionOne, Scrumworks, and Microsoft TFS). This Tasktop Linking can be to a story/requirement (and also affect sub-tasks), or to those tasks directly. To set up such a link, navigate to the Links section and select the Synchronized with link type.

Once this link is established, every time you change the state (resolution from opened to closed or the other way round) of the task or it's sub tasks (one level down), a dialog will pop up with information about the link to an Accept360 Requirement and presenting options to directly change the status of this requirement as well. Linking one non-Accept task to multiple Accept360 Requirements is supported as well.
